A COVID-19 Update from IVme 4/6/20
On April 3rd, the CDC began recommending the use of masks or cloth face coverings, especially in areas of significant community-based transmission. Because Chicago is experiencing significant community-based transmission, IVme is now requiring all patients to wear a cloth face covering or mask.
If you do not have a mask, you can make your own face covering with a t-shirt, scarf or piece of cloth. The U.S. Surgeon General put out a YouTube video demonstrating how to create a face covering at home; you can view it here: https://youtu.be/tPx1yqvJgf4.
IVme continues to provide only immune support treatments and medically necessary treatments by appointment for healthcare workers, first responders, essential business operators, & people with immune deficiencies or similar medical needs.
IVme’s IV treatments for immune support have been formulated to help strengthen immune systems. While we believe that a healthy immune system is an important line of defense against viruses, our treatments have not been tested or proven to prevent or cure COVID-19. The best approach to staying healthy is to follow CDC, IDHP and Chicago Department of Health guidelines.
