Samantha Gatewood, IVme Nurse Injector

Meet Samantha Gatewood, BSN, RNC & IVme Senior Level Nurse Injector

When Samantha Gatewood meets with patients, she first listens to their beauty goals while observing their natural facial movements. She seeks to understand how she can help them feel and look their best.

Every person is different, and it’s important to Samantha to tailor injectable treatments to enhance each person’s unique and natural beauty.  Regardless if patients want to smooth or augment, Samantha aims to help them leave with elevated confidence and an overall healthier sense of self.

Dr. Jack Dybis, Chief Medical Officer and Founder of IVme said, “Samantha is a valued member of our team. She’s learned her skills from the best plastic surgeons in Chicago and brings a classic and sophisticated approach to injectables.  When you’re in her chair, you immediately sense you’re in the hands of an expert who truly cares about you.”

Samantha is currently earning her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) focused in Family Practice Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and started her career working in labor and delivery. Her passion for injectables was sparked in 2013 when she started working and injecting with a board-certified plastic surgeon in Chicago.  She has been with IVme for five years and specializes in injecting Dysport®, BOTOX® , JUVÉDERM® and Restylane® products to help minimize fine lines and wrinkles, as well as smooth, augment and correct lips, cheeks and lower face.

“I’ve always had a passion for aesthetics,” said Samantha. “Typically patients come in feeling insecure about one thing or another, so being able to help them bring out their natural beauty and give it an extra boost is pretty special.”

Her loyal and regular customers come from all over Chicagoland seeking Samantha’s expert touch for restoring or enhancing their appearance.  Her patient list is made up equally of men and women ranging in age from 25 to 65.

Her favorite part of her job?  When the maximum effect of injectables occurs – about 10 to 14 day from treatment – she often hears from patients by email and text with photos, smiles, and heaps of gratitude.  Just the other day a patient emailed her a photo with the message, “My skin looks absolutely amazing! I just want to share this beautiful moment with you.”

Samatha’s favorite IVme treatment

Once a month Samantha gets the Beauty Plus IV, which includes hydrating fluids plus vitamins and minerals including biotin, Vitamin C, and the anti-aging warrior, glutathione.  “Many people love it for the glow and help with skin brightening; I love it because it keeps my nails and skin healthy.”

To show our appreciation for Samantha, IVme is offering a special on her favorite treatment.  See the details below.
